Business Development Executive

We are looking for an organised and ambitious Business Development Executive to join our growing team.
As a Business Development Executive at Innova, you will get the support and encouragement you need to grow from a team with shared ambitions. We will invest in your professional development to help you become an integral part of the business responsible for prospecting and managing key accounts with substantial earning opportunities.
Job Role
Day-to-day, working alongside directors, you will be responsible for administrative duties that support core operational processes such as:
• Communicating with clients and sales directors
• Communicating client briefs to suppliers
• Negotiating with suppliers
• Preparing and presenting final offers to clients
• Requesting product samples from suppliers
• Raising and Managing purchase orders
• Coordinating shipping of goods and services across the supply chain
As you mature into the role, you will be responsible for:
• Researching and identifying new business opportunities
• Prospecting and approaching new customers
• Building and managing client relationships
Must-haves
• Highly organised
• Advanced in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook)
• Full command of the English language, written and verbal
• Reside within commuting distance of our office in Ashford, Middlesex
• Bundles of common sense, passion and drive
Our ideal candidate will have (but is not required)
• Previous experience in an operations role but with a passion for business development
• Good commercial decision-making skills and an ability to solve problems
• Experience managing multiple customer accounts and relationships
• Strong passion for customer service
• Previous experience in the homeware industry
Salary & Benefits
£30,000 basic + OTE earnings a further £20k++ based on House Account sales.
